VOTE!

I don't think you understand what I wrote so let me be very clear.

The Bible says God puts the King on the throne (Daniel 2:21).

The Bible also says that the heart of the king is in the hand of the Lord and He directs it wherever He wishes. (Proverbs 21:1)

The midterms did not happen apart from God's will. He is not sitting on the throne wringing His hands and wondering "Oh what am I going to do now?"

I don't like it but it is what it is and I'm not, I don't know how else to say this, but I'm not blaming the people of America for the way that election went.

When I heard the report yesterday that the US would be cutting off aid to Israel I knew the election was lost.

I cannot accept that God ordained the outcome. I believe that God gave us the outcome many wanted, much like when Israel wanted a king. People chose to ignore the warnings and vote from arrogance.

I am frustrated and angry at all the little babies that took their ball and went home because they didn't like the candidates or the bad orange man. Do I hate them? No. Do they disgust me? Yes. Do I look at them as being about as useless and worthless to society and this nation as **** on a boar? Yep. And it isn't why they did it as much as what they did. They just gave permission to every one of these dem socialists and their sick perversion to mutilate, groom and torture children. That is what they did. And I cannot get past that level narcissism throwing these children to the wolves for their selfish little egos. Nope. Not happening.

LOL!

It depends on your definition of "Ordained".

It certainly didn't happen APART from God's will. The Bible saysGod knows the end from the beginning.

God knew last night was going to happen before He said "Let there be Light".

Nothing happens outside of His will. The challenge is to separate His permissive will from His perfect will.

The truth is that neither of us is right, nor is either of us wrong. It's a matter of perspective. I view this as a consequence of our society's choices and desires. If we want to believe that this was planned from before time, then free will doesn't exist.

I'll gladly debate this with you at some other place than this thread. I'm not certain a lot of those reading this are especially interested in a theological debate.

That's a very fair response!

The saddest part is that there are fewer and fewer places to escape to. My home state, Kansas, was once reliably conservative. A county by county map shows the overwhelming balance of the state red.

The places where Democrats won are the three biggest cities, the area around a couple of major universities and the Southwest corner of the state where illegals tend to migrate. That last one is very concerning as I wonder how many of the illegals being protected there voted.

And the morons have finally destroyed this nation. The apathetic voters just destroyed the last free nation on the face of the earth. A bunch of selfish, entitled, childish morons just sealed the fate of this nation. And the only comfort from this, is that they will suffer right along with the rest of us. I am thoroughly disgusted with this. This is the last "election" that mattered we will ever have. There will be one party rule, our Founding Fathers are ashamed. They will get us disarmed and subservient through their government run healthcare. It is coming. And the sheep will gladly submit to the slavery and oppression that is coming.
Even so, the US is still a great country, with many, many desirable and good things happening.... 🤠

I don’t completely agree with Vance in his opinion. I have been more disappointed with what Republicans have not done in two years of control. Mainly failing to pass the Save America Act. Moving forward I don’t think Trump should give any opinion of who should succeed him in the party. Anointing your successor is what the Democrats do.
Let them fight it out and may the best candidate win.

Well, I'm thankful for being old and in the twilight years of my life, for I won't likely see the end of this beautiful country. I don't see any possible way to come back to what we were. I see the elected dancing and partying like they won. This isn't a race, or something like that. This was a call to serve the people of the district. The winners are treating us like we gave them the keys to Disneyland and Legoland, and it's time to go partying.

I feel for the next generations and the price of what they have chosen.

Peace to all of you.
