Democrats Appear Set to End Public Gun Ownership if They Gain Power in November

Wasn’t going to post this type of articles, but thought I would share this

Good Post Anni. I agree, this mind set is being taught to our kids in school (it seems like it's been for awhile), and it then filters into key job positions throughout society, that can influence even more (media, politicians, etc). I'm not sure if this is a planned attack by a foreign power (to incite eventual social unrest/revolution), or home grown socialist bent on the downfall of capitalism in general.
In other Gun related news, Joe Biden renewed his call on gun bans after the tragic ambush of two law enforcement officers in Los Angeles, California.

Yea, saw that on Fox News, “ban weapons of war and high capacity magazines” not one of those that we know was used in that ambush, I have said it before and I will say it again, Why would you support and vote for a person who openly states he is going to ban guns, then say, your a true second amendment supporter, but you vote for the person who is going to ban guns, your not a true second amendment supporter, your fake just like fake news.

" In other Gun related news, Joe Biden renewed his call on gun bans after the tragic ambush of two law enforcement officers in Los Angeles, California."

Biden won't criticize his supporters that shot the LEOs, but he'll take the guns away from the US public.

Also, BLM/Antifa vermin have been arrested setting fires in the west. Biden doesn't say anything them but blames Trump.

Typical strategy of..."Blame the other side for what they are doing". .

My .02

Well the new "blame it on Trump", the liberals are peddling for the west coast fires is "climate change" and Trump's pulling out of the "Paris Accord" and other non actions on the subject. I find it curious, that this "climate change" causing fires, appears (at least to me), to be only occurring in those 3 western US States. Not British Columbia, Canada, not Alaska, Not Mexico, Central America, Peru, or Chile. Seems to be a very selective "climate change" that seems to effect California year in and year out.
It couldn't be because of poor State or Power Company land management, or by Arsonist (as Talyn states), being caught in those States starting fires. Nope, Climate Change, and Trump is at fault.:mad:

Yeah, butbutbut....Orange Man Bad. Truth doesn't matter. Land management doesn't matter. Clearing deadfalls and underbrush on a regular basis to reduce fire hazard doesn't matter.

Repeat it often enough (and loud enough)...people will stop questioning, and simply fall in line.

I’m sure if Biden spoke directly to the criminal element about turning in their guns and disarm they would. Yeah when pigs fly.
The Democratic Party if voted into office will result in this country turning into another 3rd world country where the general population will have no say whatsoever. I’ve said before, this country is on the verge of another civil war.

Having been involved directly & indirectly in wildland Fire in the prior career forest fires have always been around.

In fact, in 1910 massive fires occurred in the northern 1/2 of ID and in western MT. No one was talking about climte changed there& then.

"Cal Fire" is CA huge fire fighting org that's been around for decades so they know fires have always been apart of that state's history.

With more & more folks living in the woods in the west, either individually or in developments living in the woods in the West comes with the risk of wildfire.

In my current location I picked a site to live that is almost 100% safe from fires. In 2017 we had our worst season to date, and just as bad smoke as what's occuring now.

Also, the one fire in west central OR is in the same valley I started my career & my coms with friends back there said the fire started from a downed power line with additional high winds.

Anitfa/BLM will be the stormtroopers that will enforce any edicts if Biden/Harris get into power.

The issue is they won't have an easy time taking the guns from patriotic Americans. Some will roll-over like dogs and other won't especially in MT.

The indoctrination of our children and colleges have been going on for a long time.
I fought it when my children were in grade school in high school in the '90s. my kid went to school one day and was telling his teacher and some other friends and how I went shooting over the weekend and I became a pariah in the teachers eyes. No longer do they even teach archery in school like when I was in school in the early 80's. you know years ago we were one of the easiest people to teach to shoot in the military because we already knew how to shoot mostly before we got to the military now my nephews and others who have joined the military have told me all across some of the people that are joining the military thinking they should never have to pick up a gun they need to sit in the tent somewhere and play on a computer. Got news for you folks it gets down and dirty you need to know how to use a firearm to save you or your family plain and simple.
I will never vote for any of these communist for Marxist mofos

My upbringing would give parents today, seizures.

I was on a 22LR NRA rifle range by age 9.

I was TEACHING on a CAA archery range by age 14 - I qualified for my American Archer certification (right handed) at age 13. By 15, I also had it left-handed. In the day, I could plug a grapefruit at 50 yards, 6 out of 6 shots. No sights. Recurve, no compound. I did allow myself to fire aluminum arrows, though, instead of just warped wood ones.

Ah....muscle memory...amazing what the body can do when you fire about 200 rounds a day - 6 days a week - downrange!

For H.R. 5717, I doubt it would ever pass - the corporate lobby would fight it, just based on the statement

  • removes limitations on the civil liability of gun manufacturers;

As noted here before, that step alone would be akin to suing General Motors if someone gets hurt or killed in an automobile, or suing Anheuser-Busch when someone gets killed by a drunk. Or, take it a step further, sue them if you have cirrhosis or liver cancer. God forbid, the individual take responsibility for their own actions and choices - let's find a way to blame someone else, for putting that capability into their hands in the first place. Steering wheel, beer can, or handgun. Nevermind the fact that an individual has a CHOICE to use, or misuse, whatever item it is - it's not up to the manufacturer. It's up to the person.

Pathetic.

They'll sneak it in somewhere. Since Sandy Hook they've got some judges to agree to being able to do just as you described to the gun industry. It also may not stop at lawful firearms manufacturer. That may be a good portion of why Remington is in bankruptcy. Since Bushmaster was rolled up with them they've been litigating. I'm sure the fees are stupendous. Nothing can be taken for granted these days as we're finding out "common sense" gun laws are an all out ban when you get right down to it.

These are some of the reasons the next SCOTUS nomination and seat is so very important !!!!! The next opening on the court is without question the most important seat ever in the history of the court for any number of reasons including interpreting the constitution rather than re-legislating it ...... and especially for the support of the 2nd amendment.

Now that's something to seriously ponder on y'all. (y)

1963 possibly 64 (hard to remember) I walked out of a pawn shop in Boise with a 12 ga JC Higgins shotgun and a box of shells, at age 13. I was by myself, no adults, mom was surprised when I walked home with that shotgun. Even more surprised that it didn't seam to bother anyone I passed on my way home. I had worked hard for the 20.00 dollars mowing yards. I have been shooting ever since. The current unrest has me worried. Sometimes I am mad, sometimes sad, I am not sure what will happen in the up coming Washington State election for governor (this state is a mess IMHO) or even in the Presidential election. One thing I do know, I am glad I joined this forum, there are a lot of people who feel the same way I do. Thank You.

In the mid 80'S (pre teen) would come home from school and grab a gun and head the the woods for the rest of the day. We would walk thought town with guns in are hands and not a word was said and nobody ever got shot or put a eye out. Good old day. Now you can't even point a finger gun. My 2 cents if you don't love America get the f out.
