Nice. I assume you have shaved with a straight before?

I have a vintage “ Wire Cutter” I bought “ Shave ready” for a good price. I use it only very occasionally since it’s more time consuming than my regular DE/ safety razor shaves. They say it takes about 100 shaves to be totally comfortable shaving yourself with a straight.

Yes I have. I’m a relative newbie to it, but I have months of straight razor shaves under my belt. The first few were bloody chaos, but it got better.
