This is such a good movie. The wife and I watch it fairly often and quote it whenever the situation arises.

Exactly. I have a habit of making eye contact with everyone who passes by me whether I'm on a fitness trail on in a store. Tells them that I've noticed them and if they have any nefarious thoughts about trying something that I'm not the target they're looking for.

I have multiple methods of water purification already on hand. I got that stuff early on in my 'prepping' efforts. EDIT: The way this thread has completely gone off the rails has been entertaining!

I feel like I've got all the guns I need (for now) and now I'm concentrating on getting the "other" things that my family and I would need to get through a SHTF situation. I've got alot of the stuff I'd need, but I do not have any substantial respiratory protection. Any of you patriots have a...

I can tell you factually that the city I work for has been very actively recruiting NYPD officers for a few years. They are sending teams up there to recruit, test, and interview up to 50 at a time. Officers in central FL get treated much better by their city/county governments than they do in...

Good Lord that is A LOT of restrictions on 2nd Amendment rights. I feel for the real patriots that live in that state IF they voted against all of this liberal madness. Thankfully I live in the Free State of Florida where we are a solid RED state and have strong conservative leadership.

I found this thread and wondered if this one would be here. It wasn’t, likely because it happened in 2017, but it is worthy of mention, and I know damn near everything about it unfortunately. https://www.odmp.org/officer/23085-lieutenant-debra-lucinda-clayton I was getting off work at my...

Most, if not every lake in Florida has one. If you are going to be doing anything in that lake, you need to think about it. They get nasty during mating season, and mommas will protect their nest like a damn pit bull. To be honest, I’ve been paddle boarding and canoeing right past them...

Bought it yesterday and took it for a test drive today. Gotta say I’m really happy with it. I ran 200 rounds through it today and not 1 misfire/misfeed. My rounds were landing primarily in the mid to upper chest of the human silhouette target. I was looking at 1 different pistol, and was...

I’m looking at buying one of these. Watched the Hickok45 review, watched Colion Noir’s review (I think he wanted to make love to it at the end, it was awkward, but he really liked it. I am as I type this watching a review from the Honest Outlaw () and he abuses this thing and comes out with a...

I have one- that's a big pistol for concealed carry, but if you CAN conceal it, more power to ya!

I'm turning 50 in October, and the close up vision is fading as I have to wear readers for small print. I suppose I need to find out if my eyes are still good enough to make a shoot out to 500 yards without glass before I go much further. If you don't mind me asking, what type of scope to you...

Question regarding this rifle. I am an iron sights shooter with very little experience using optics. I have read/been told that the sights on this rifle are good enough for shooting out to 500 yards. I am planning on buying one in the fall and want to know if I'll need glass or not for...

What wonderful state do you live in? I am hoping we get open carry here in the Sunshine State. I live in an area that is predominantly liberal, so I am curious how open carry would be received.

Yeah it's a 45ACP. Damn Sexy ***** she is. I may have to take it out for dinner and drinks to show my appreciation (mind you, I have 3 bourbons down already tonight after watching UNC fall on their faces at Virginia Tech-LOVE IT!!!!) so take me with a grain of salt.
