Gas Masks... Do you have them? If so, what kind to you have and why?

I feel like I've got all the guns I need (for now) and now I'm concentrating on getting the "other" things that my family and I would need to get through a SHTF situation. I've got alot of the stuff I'd need, but I do not have any substantial respiratory protection. Any of you patriots have a gas mask and if so which one do you have and why? Thanks for the info.

I don’t think your going to need any gas masks, probably need potassium iodine more likely…..

Don't have a gas mask, although i needed one a few times. but probably need water purification stuff.

I have one I "liberated" from the Marine Corps when I got out. Also a Kevlar helmet. I used to have the mask on an old manikin head and the helmet on top. When we moved here 4 and a half years ago, the display was put in one of the packing boxes that haven't been unpacked yet. It's in the backroom, along with my AT4 tube.

I know nothing of gas masks, but wouldnt a commercial grade one that is used in the chemical industry be a quality one to purchase as a decent price for high grade comfort/material?
