Think Springfield could be convinced to build a Model 2020 rifle with their carbon and steel barrel in a classic wood stock? Maybe with a slim wrist and easy to carry forearm? Something model 70 featherweight (ish)? With the availability of the high grade wood they have in the .22 I would like...
I really like the redline, just wish it was offered in more calibers. How about a 7mm backcountry to take advantage of that short 16in barrel with a suppressor?
Man! I think my first post on here was shortly after the XD(M) elite compact came out and I was wondering when they would offer an OSP version. Glad I waited because this seems like an excellent EDC gun! Now I just have to get in line!
Does anyone know if the XDM-E OSP version can come without the threaded barrel. I really like that pistol as a full sized shooter but have no use for the threaded barrel on the gun. Is there a way to get that version without having to pay for an extra barrel?
Been a minute but as a follow up question, what is everyone paying for an optics cut on a pistol. I think that a XDm-E compact with the optics will be coming sometime but as hard as it is for gun companies to keep up with the current demand it might be a minute before they come out with one and...

Here in my state of Iowa we are restricted on which cartridges we can use in our gun seasons (which traditionally were shotgun seasons). The 350 is one of the cartridges that makes the list. I am 99% a bowhunter but do think the 350 in a Saint Victor platform could be fun. It is not in the same...
Just saw that the Saint Victor is now chambered in 350 legend. I have wanted to play around with that caliber for a bit now, this makes me happy. Anyone get to test one out yet?
Sorry, been busy at work and gearing up for another deployment. Going to be my last one before retirement. The Springfield I carried in Iraq was on my first deployment which seemed like a lifetime ago but was really back around 16-17 years ago (ish). It was when the designated rifleman idea and...
Hello everyone, new member here. I have long been a fan of Springfield's but am new to the forum. My first experiences with any type of Springfield was in Iraq and the rifle I carried there. After that I was introduced to the XD lineup and have liked the various versions of the weapon ever...
