    I don't disagree, but it doesn't work in my mind. Ruger makes a fine 1911 and has done for years; hell, I even owned one. But the cast frame thing was just constant distraction in my head.

    Not a Springfield, but for $200 including a fresh box of hollow points, I couldn't resist. This 1981 Llama .380. Took it to the range today and put a couple hundred rounds through it and it functioned perfectly! Cleaning it now. Disassembles exactly like a 1911.

    Personally, I wouldn't open carry. If I was OC standing in line at Dunkins' and someone walked in with nefarious intentions I don't want to be the first target.
