Alright guys after putting the scope on my ar15 i came out with 1 inch group at 100 yards. I put a red dot tube style optic on the ar 10 and at about 50 yards the group was 6 inches or so. I will do that also ill get my dad to shoot it and it came with the Springfield flip up sites and i also have a set of mbus as well. I will keep you all updated with my discoveries in the next couple of days I appreciate all the input.

Yea i was looking at that also i may try throwin the scope on my 5.56 to see what happens i know the recoil will be less so it might operate properly. However i really like the scope so im hoping it isnt that haha

I have a fairly nice scope on a 270 i know is accurate so i will try and grab a mount for it and see if i can eliminate the scope aspect.

Yup prone on a magpul bipod with sandbags under the stock. And also off a bench with the adjustable rests. I have the same results no matter what ammo.

Also i have removed the rail and wiggled everything i could wiggle and saw no obvious movement in barrel nut, barrel, and wiggled scope mount and scope with no obvious wiggle also. Thats why i felt i could probably narrow it to the barrel or the optic. I personally didnt think scope only because...

Will do i was hesitant on blaming the scope because it is jumping sometimes from say 10” right to 15” left with no adjustments to scope and the elevation is varying at the same time equal amounts.

I bought a brand new saint victor in .308 and have put about 75 rounds through it. It has not gotten better than about a 15 inch group or so at 100 yards. Has anybody had this issue? Im thinking it is the barrel. I havent contacted springfield yet. Any recommendations? TIA
