Removing the multi-port brake from the Kuna

Don’t be afraid to use some heat, a I have a small torch for soldering, or lighting the occasional stogie. 18mm open end wrench, and it was pretty easy work…

If I can cut down time spent with a metal pick/razor blade scraping carbon, I’ll be happy. But I only have a few hundred rounds through a fresh cleaning, so I think I’m going to wait until I’m at/near 1K round count, then let it soak overnight in some breakthrough…just to see. Appreciate the...

I've read that too. Breakthrough is safe for all metals and is reusable if you filter the old fluid back into the bottle.

Ahhh...ultra sonic vs soak. Yep... Got You. My harbor freight ultra sonic don't do much.... And I agree way too much time spent with a blade and pick to clean. Hoping a long soak will yield better results! I did anti seize all threaded portions of my Rugged. I also bought rubber strap...

I’m planning on letting the whole can soak in breakthrough overnight when it’s ready… I don’t know if 25 minutes is enough soak.

I hear all points here. Rugged says 1K rounds. I'm on with that... And since they would handle warranty if needed...

Recommendations vary 100%. Rugged suggests 1K rounds. I’ve gone as high as 500…and I have shot supersonic through it. I may… just give it the dip and get it clean, and then just run it. With all the carbon build up, my ADHD doesn’t let me let it go longer… :)

I’ve got a Tri Lug and Obsidian 9. It’s a great combo. I’ve got about 300 rounds through it since the last cleaning, the old fashioned way… I’m gonna get about 500 or so more through it and give the breakthrough solution a shot… love shooting it, but man, cleaning baffles suck :)

I also read elsewhere it works with stock brace…and like Sharks I use it on my stocker…. Brace, not vein..to be clear.

Same one I got. I don’t have the energy to debate good/bad/legal/illegal/gray/black/white. LOL.

I have tried the 147 Hush already, it’s possible I tried the 165. My buddy at the range had some, I honestly don’t remember which grain they were TBH. They didn’t perform any better than the Syntech. I had issues with Freedom Munitions a couple years ago, and haven’t been back...

Yep. Over 35,000 rounds over the past few years in various pistols. Find a good reloader... Save money...Shoot more.

I’m closing in on 2K rounds with mine, 90% suppressed. Had some cracked mags, although they all fired fine. One was cracked bad up top, the reset were down the tubes. Zero feed/fire issues of any kind, I’m in search of the perfect subsonic round, both for noise AND price. I’ve put 115 to 158...

    EGW Guide Rod for Prodigy

Easily over 5K through my old prodigy with the Dawson toolless. Sold to a friend, probably north of 7K by now, zero issues. I put a fresh recoil spring in when I sold it, just because… I’d take the Dawson over the EGW any day of the week. EGW makes outstanding gear… but the Dawson it true...

    Kuna Mags…interesting.

4 new from Mag Shack have the identical part number as those I received under warranty from SA. I’ve got 10 mags, all numbered/lettered. As noted, the new 4 from SA and the new 4 from MagShack can only load 30 rounds instead of 31.. I’ll have to take a look at the springs and followers. I...
