People say this every time open carry is passed.. "There will be gunfights in the street, it'll be like the old west" And it never happens. I think that the majority of people are smart enough NOT to open carry.

I recently picked up the Canik TP9SF Mete One Series and added a Holosun 407K GRX2 Green Dot optic to it today. I'll probably run to the range tomorrow to sight it in. I was excited to see that the gun also accepts the Mete Series 17 round mags and I have plenty of those thanks to a sale at PSA.

Would like to see it when you're done. I did the same thing a while back and it works great!!

Breakfree CLP and Lucas Gun Oil

I picked up the Echelon 4.0 Comp today. I promptly swapped out frame module to the ODG frame and I will get it to the range asap to see how it shoots.

I was a PDP guy, now I'm an Echelon guy... Both are great shooting guns, but I prefer the options that the Echelon gives over the PDP.

Caniks makes great guns, I'm not sure what the issue is, but each to his own..

This... But in all honesty, I owned the 509 and it never really impressed me much. I've owned a multitude of carry guns over the years trying to find the right one and I was still looking when I picked up the Echelon. I really wasn't impressed when they first came out, but the Echelon grew on me...

I went with Olive Drab Green, but Green's my fav color.

Take the backstrap off and between the raised rails on the frame is the frame grip size.

Yep, Run that 1911 wet! Be generous with the lube on the slide rails.
