One could be paying much more for a custom 1911. Wilson Combat etc For a simi custom the price is about right. I believe I payed a little over 1700 for my TRP in standard government. Again.... Worth every penny.
Older model from bout 5 years ago. Swapped out the two piece full length guide rod for GI with flat wire recoil spring bumped up a notch from Wilson. 10-8 plug. Perhaps the finest pistol I've owned. Chews up any ammo I've fed it including critical defense. Worth every penny.
Gulf Coast Mississippi here. Seeing cardiologist today. Some places do have signs posted but they have to be visible and no further than ten feet of entrance. I usually leave mine at home or in some cases locked up in my truck. Most hospitals even down here don't allow firearms. Up in a city...
Good read. I've heard my share of people trash talk the enduring legacy. Mostly younger guys that are hung up on capacity. Truth is in most cases you either gotta suck less or bring more friends. I wanted one most of my life but was torn between what I've heard an price. Finally after study and...
Believe me I get it. On my TRP I didn't really care for the full length guide rod. Went GI with flat wire recoil spring Wilson parts. 10-8 plug. I have a problem taking something inherently perfect and trying to improve. Nice mods...
True. And depending where you live going to just any gun shop/sporting goods store odds are they're not gonna have it. I did my shopping online. Leupold and Vortex was a bit more but the Hi-Lux had good reviews. I guess I can always upgrade. I like the BDC feature.
Not sure if this question is for me but here goes.. Being completely new to the scout platform l decided to go with a Hi-Lux scout scope with Warne QD rings.
Agreed. But for larger (revolvers). Have a S&W 44 model 69 I had Magnaported a few years ago. It was a good investment I think. As far as most pistols go I really don't think so being that they have a ejection port and in general don't have the recoil of most large revolvers.
