Thanks unfortunately it got canceled due to a severe wind storm I was able to get a quick test on my gun and loads but I'm sure the gun will do much better when not rushed and in a ransom rest.

Finished loading 45 acp and 38 special for the service pistols, cleaned the Nelson conversion getting ready for a shoot this weekend up in Showlow gonna shoot the 2700 and a couple EIC matches.

This thing is like shooting a cream puff I really like a 38 special 1911 !

This gun has two slides the other is a 6" that is currently a 38 super with a red dot set up but I ordered a 38 special barrel to replace it was thinking I'd prefer both to be the same but I have to send the slide back to Caspian to open up the breech not a big deal though.

Just finished loading a bunch of 38 special for testing tomorrow. I have the 1911 I built ready for testing and my 586 I opened up the cylinder throats so going to test that too. I am way more excited about the 1911 tbh hoping it's bullseye capable for centerfire matches.

Cleaned three 45's and reamed out the cylinder throats on my 586 which were too small.

Thanks that was a lot of work hogged off some with the dremel then files and emory paper that's tough on my hand with the arthritis bone removed ! Should look even better with a sandblast and nitride but I'm not doing the frame just the housing maybe down the road I'll do the whole gun after it...

I blended the Smith and Alexander one piece main spring housing on the jsoc I'm pretty happy with it. I will have it nitride finished on the next batch so just cold blued it for some protection for the time being.

Just finished installing my gold bead in my slide rail it was an endeavor first welding then machining then parkerizing and finally epoxy in place I like a center hold and this gets me what I want.

Very windy not shooting so well today !

Have a pistol silhouette match this morning going to shoot the 252 silhouette with the mag cylinder.
