B-52 Stratofortress — The BUFF Strategic Bomber

I’m going to be that guy … the B-52H carries a maximum of 51 Mk 82 bombs (27 internal and 24 external). The D model with the big belly mod could carry 108 total.

Springfield Operator vs. Garrison — Battle of the 9mm 1911 Pistols

And yet neither has checkering on the front strap! I sort of get it on the Garrison but come on with the “Operator” name? Sad just sad

    Saint Victor trigger

Hello, Anyone have any idea who makes the trigger for the Victor? I have one in 5.56 and now that I have 500+ rounds thru this gun, I absolutely love the trigger! I like it so much I would like to replace it on another AR I built. Any idea?

Saint Victor 556 Fit & Finish

Thank you for the reply…the gap is not horizontal but vertical near the buffer tube. There is little wobble but the gap still bother me. The biggest concern, probably unfounded, is there could be excessive wear or stress on the component. Really disappointEd customer service has not replied to...

Saint Victor 556 Fit & Finish

Just recently bought a Saint Victor in 556. While doing a pre use inspection, noticed a gap between the upper and lower near where the buffer tube connects. Measured with a wire gage and the gap is 22 gauge or ~.025. This is my first AR15 so don’t know about the tolerances (I do have an AR 10...

Review: Springfield Armory 9mm Garrison 1911

I’ll continue to whine like the poor little … that I am … some of us live in the hot humid south! People that write comments like “…while the front strap is left comfortably smooth“ don’t live and train down here! Front strap checkering PLEASE! Others are kind enough to tell me “just spend more...

    Springfield Operator vs. Mil-Spec 1911

Valid…but its an extra $600 for front strap checkering?

    Springfield Operator vs. Mil-Spec 1911

Why is it impossible for SA to produce a 1911 with front strap checkering? not all of us shoot indoors on climate controlled ranges! Summer time in Louisiana makes for very sweaty days! Sure I can take the firearm to a gunsmith but why not from the factory?

Review: The New Springfield Operator 1911 .45 ACP

Agree with your comment concerning front strap checkering! Those of us in the humid south shooting outdoors appreciate that feature so much! C’mon Springfield if Taurus can checker the front strap so should you!

    Review: The Ronin EMP

Why is it impossible for SA to sell a 1911 without front strap stippling! Especially for conceal carry! very frustrating SA puts out these firearms with that simple feature!

    Springfield Armory Garrison 1911 Review

Why is it impossible for SA to produce\sell a 1911 with front strap serrations? Not all of us live in cool low humidity environs. An ambi safety would also be nice. Sadly many ‘smiths in my area will not work on SAs so if I could find one, I would end up shipping it back for the front strap...
