Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

I got it by Total accident… it was at a local gun store. A customer ordered it and then cancelled the order, they don’t typically carry that model so they clearanced it out…. Score!! It doesn’t have shake awake but I never minded making sure it was on before leaving the house…I’ve always like...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

I have my fingers crossed. As a backup I mounted a Burris fast fire IV to my Ruger SR9C today… it was my old EDC and now it’s a tack driver so at least now I can swap back if needed

First Look: The Hellcat Pro 9mm

It’s hard to explain but they just don’t register to me and it’s more of a poa vs a poi for me

First Look: The Hellcat Pro 9mm

I don’t have a beef with the hellcat and it’s operation, just the crappy red dot they paired with it. It’s as reliable as any of my XD or 1911’s and I have never had any failure with any of them, with one exception the EMP had some crazy light firing pin to meet some Standard which caused a...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

If this continues, anyone want to take bets on their next move. Here is my prophecy…. They won’t issue a recall, but you will get “ dear valued customer, we apologize for the issues you have experience with your hex wasp optic. We have been unable to rectify the issue with the manufacturer. As a...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Yeah it’s frustrating. I had two identical sight marks and the one would last forever and the other one would drain the battery when it was off… but even that horrible gem lasted for 4 months… these things are amazing battery eaters…very proficient. They should rename it from the wasp to the...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Glad you got it… in the future, keep in mind sometimes it’s the tool and if you get a new sharp torx, sometimes you can get them…. If all else fails and your deseperate…. Clean them down with alcohol and brake cleaner… JB weld the tool into the head , clamp it and let it cure for 24-48 hours...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Exactly. INCH POUNDS. Less than one foot pound…. 10-12 foot lbs would be most valve cover bolts on virtually any motor :)

    Hex Wasp?

They just received mine last week. I’ll see what the turn around is. In the meantime I’ll carry my Ruger or Kimber. But hey, at least I got to carry it for 8 weeks and 2 batteries…hope they are stocking their warehouses… if it were me I would be looking for a new red dot partner collaboration...

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Assuming you can see them :) if I go one more step on my reading glasses I won’t be able to see the irons without them on.

Hex Wasp - Anyone’s randomly stop working?

Fair point but 90% of those chips in the American vehicles we drive are made in various Asian countries and the big automakers would need to address it or be required to recall it because at the end of the day they own it. Now IF you bought the optic by itself…. Your point is well taken and...
