    Open carry is for fools!

First thing comes to mind around here is, if you aren't 21, you aren't getting a concealed handgun permit. There's also no constitutional carry here. For folks in such a situation, open carry is the only legal option. Young folks ask about this all the time in the forums and social media in...

    Open carry is for fools!

While I won't do open carry, it may be the only viable option for some folks. Choice is always good, IMO. I might not choose it but someone else might and I don't have a problem with that.

    Prodigy 3.5 Compact

Just a quick update - I'm at 600 rounds now. I've experienced no fails whatsoever. It's even eating JHP without issue. Trigger has smoothed out after a detail strip and is down to 3 lb flat now. I'm running a Cyelee CAT RMSc optic on it, as well. I may start carrying it soon - it fits the...

    Prodigy 3.5 Compact

I bought the Compact 3.5 variant. I'm not in love with it, but I think that's the Bul Armory's fault - the Ultralight feels and shoots extremely well. It's been my carry gun going on 3 years, so I'm used to it. Factoring that out, IMO, the Ultralight's workmanship is next-level when compared...

    Prodigy 3.5 Compact

I've several of the Officer-sized 1911s. I've had no issues (feed/extract or general gun fails) with any of them, so far, and that includes the Prodigy DS. Not sure I'd call them micro, either - almost all of them are G19-sized.

Wanted to try a big green optic. It's my first RMR and first closed emitter optic. It fits this gun well enough, but I bought it in preparation for a 5" Prodigy.

First Look: 1911 DS Prodigy Compact 9mm Pistols

Has anyone purchased or reviewed both? I've only seen folks review the 3.5...I've not seen a 4.25" Compact review yet. I'd initially thought that the 3.5 would be a good option but the 4.25 might be better...would offer the same things as the 3.5" but with a longer sight radius, plus a longer...

First Look: 1911 DS Prodigy Compact 9mm Pistols

I'd already planned to grab a 5" Comp, too. I'm probably going to grab the 3.5" too...looking to replace my Ultralight.

Carry Gun Rotation: Good or Bad?

i don’t do rotations. I stick with one gun regardless of what I wear, regardless ofwhere I go, regardless of time of year. I’ve been carrying a Bul Armory SAS II UL the past 18 months. I do take other guns to the range but always shoot at LEAST three mags through my carry gun every visit. Once...

Something different......BUL Armory SAS II Ultra Light 3.25"

That's not stupid...that's something that you were curious about. I bought a SAS II UL in March of 2023. I was curious about the S15, so I it 1.5 months after the SAS II UL. I bought the threaded barrel and bobtail variant (this was before they offered the optics cut version). I've 1080...
