But did you tighten the clamp screw? Just tighten the screw and it will clamp, unless your eotech is broke or a fake, but even the fakes will clamp. There are all kinds of videos on the phenomenon of loose qd mounts and how to tighten.

Should be able to twist the lever tighter, then snap it shut. Use the lever as its loose and use it like a screw top to tighten it, try it one revolution at a time until tight.

Beware the Hellcat and any Hellcat OSP version has different dovetails. Optic ready versions of Hellcat use a different rear sight dovetail. Normal Hellcats use the same dovetails as every other XD, XDM, XDE, XDS, Echelon that Springfield has used for 24 years.

Part of the problem is that the sight swill insert, but will not be the right height for the optics cut. The Echelon uses a mid sized height sight that is not quite a suppressor sized tall sight, but not a shorty either. You can skip to the sights section of my video
