One of the features of the Echelon that I appreciate is the “Charging Handle” on the back face of the slide. You’ll find that it’s easy to use once you get used to it. It doesn’t get as hot during sustained firing.

Welcome to the forum from Central Texas🤠 Yes, after sustained fire it will get hot. Knowing this, I’ll only use the slide stop or the back of the slide during reloads. I do wear gloves occasionally because they were a required part of our PPE.

Yep. I’m happy with my MIL-SPEC. I may get some different sights installed but for now it’s Good to Go🤠
