Is 380 Good for Self-Defense? Everything You Need to Know

Personally I think the 380 is great for SD, I just wish I had more options for more rounds like I do with 9mm but most of the carry 380 guns I like only carry 6+1. 9mm is small and cheap so I just don't think 380 has been able to make its mark as easily. But...you are asking about 30sp So...

Shotguns VS. PCCs for home defense

Home invasion is not a crime perpetrated by smart mentally competent individuals. It's a high risk, low reward act. Much easier and safer to knock over a bank. They'll give up the cash readily and won't try to shoot you. As long as you have a solid escape plan, maybe using an easily stolen Kia...

Leupold Mark 4HD 1-4.5x24mm Review — New LPVO Rifle Scope

I'm going to also say that unless the 1x is like the razor with it's almost disappearing ocular, it may not be worth it accept for the lighter weight maybe. The 1x FOV is 118' on the Leupy, and the FOV on the razor is 115' so that looks promising.

    Hunting with Thermal-Scope

I like to scan with thermal and shoot with night vision. I have the AGM 25 monocular thermal which I love, and I shoot with a Pulsar night vision scope. No problem with identification before pulling the trigger.

    New Sig P365

I own one. I've had it for about 4 years and yes, I would buy it again. Controllable, totally reliable. The multiple types of magazines allow for fingertip extensions for control, 12 rd for capacity and flush for concealment. I don't favor the XL model as you start to degrade the concealment...

    Springfield Hellion 5.56 rifle

I got a Hellion when they first were released. I’ve shot maybe 100 rounds through it. It’s a neat concept. I’ve been meaning to try and sight it in with a few different optics and loads to see what it is capable of. Haven’t had the time.

Red Dot vs. Iron Sights for Concealed Carry

Carry gun I prefer iron sights. Range/competition guns must have a dot. I shoot a dot more accurately at speed due to aging eyes. But for a self defense gun at close range sights to me aren’t as important, not planning on precise 25 yard shots.

Pepper Spray vs Bear Spray Against Dogs

Not sure about the difference in ingredients/potency ect, but most bear spray will fan out or spray in a "cone" pattern. That may make it more likely to get you too should their be any wind.
