I think their magazine is to prime your firearm. I had the same issue with the Ronin 45. I carry with one chambered and a spare magazine that really hold 9 rounds. So maybe it's by design.

Seems like the big box stores can't get primer or I'm always too late to buy them. I have had better luck at finding primers of all sizes at the mom and pop shops. Big city life.
