Over the years in law enforcement many of us saw a increase in break-ins and robberies when big protest were draining resources and patrols were few and far between thus leaving some soft targets at risk. I will just leave it at that.

A couple years back Bear Spray was illegal in all of New York state so might want to check if that has changed.
