They can't that's about as far down as you can mill an XD slide, as you go down there are other parts that fit in the slide that get exposed. With the Echelon HS built the slide around the mounting system. With an XD, XDM you have to build the mounting system around the slide.

You will regularly see these at $299.99. At that price these will sell really well for those looking for a quality pistol but have budget constraints.

Except for the one flier you got sub, moa with non match ammo assuming those are one inch squares. Even with BP issues looks good. I bet if you shoot a variety of different brands with different weights you can tighten up once you find out what your rifle likes best.
