    We need a 5” Eschilon

Well. A Tactical has the same length slide/sight plane as a standard, so…you’ve got options. Might be a little more honest, with the Tactical having a Match trigger like the Expert…

    We need a 5” Eschilon

It also makes a noticeable difference between a USP9 and a USP Expert.

    Critical Defense or Federal HST?

Can you give more specifics? Pics? Sheet metal shouldn’t get the round to expand…it almost sounds like the bullet was keyholing (tumbling) when it impacted, and hit going almost sideways. And I assume you mean .25acp?

Kuna kuna kuna, first range trip.

It depends on the optic…wherever you get a good sight picture that you’re happy with is what matters.

    Heavy Competition Guns

Yep; bull barrel to boot, and a heavy magwell. Very solid.

What are you doing right now??

I’ve narrowed it down to the Sig or a Primary SLX w/ACSS reticle.

    We need a 5” Eschilon

Actually…to play on your adjustable sight idea… An AOS plate with an adjustable sight would be a nice option for the Prodigy. As for 5”…yeah; that’s nice length for a 9mm.

What are you doing right now??

I am getting paid overtime to do F-all nothing besides sit on my tuchus and play on my phone (wish I’d brought my tablet, dammit). We are shut down for maintenance. But someone “needs” to be in the control room because…I’ve yet to get an answer to that, but the head shed decided someone needs...

    Marksmanship of Police Officers

Interesting thing I forgot to add about that study I mentioned earlier, about numbers of rounds fired going up and % hits going down since the ‘80s in regards to LE shootings… One of the the conclusions drawn was that the introduction of large capacity sidearms (greater than revolvers or single...

    Marksmanship of Police Officers

The last study I saw that looked at non-LEO defensive shootings was under 3 rounds expended (2.something average). Don’t recall a hit % with it, though…but, with the average that low, I would expect the hit ratio to be considerably higher.

    HKPRO Site

HKParts…not affiliated with HK. HKPro is not officially affiliated with HK (as in, HK doesn’t own it like Springfield owns this site), but…they’re pretty tight with them. I hang around for some of the stuff for sale there (under another handle), but for the most part, stay out of the...

    HK CC9

I’ve shot a couple. It’s nice; the ones I’ve shot have had no issues, it’s a good trigger, accurate as any small 9mm. I do like it better than most of the competition; better than the 365, Hellcat, etc. I’m sure I’ll eventually get one for the collection, but I’m in no hurry; tiny 9’s aren’t...

    Ticked Off!!

I have a pink UPLULA in my range bag; it’s easy to find, and nobody will steal it. Our vet has told us that any time it’s above freezing, ticks can be active…

But I LIKE the pink one!

    Marksmanship of Police Officers

I wish I could find it, but there was a study done 10-15 years ago that studied police shootings since the 1980’s… Basically, in the 25-30 or so years it looked at…the number of rounds fired went up drastically, while the % of hits went down.
