    RIP Sig P320

Again, YouTube is not a news source. People who think it is are a big part of the problem these days.

How do you cycle your carry ammo?

True. I take my bedside pistol out about once a year, though, and still put the ammo that’s been in it downrange, just because. And since it’s a revolver, there’s no need to replace a chambered round. Most of the other HD guns, though…just don’t get the loads cycled. They get taken out...

Searching for the best WWII sniper rifle

I nearly included the Swede, but I figured I’d stick with the belligerents’ rifles. But, yes…if I could only have one issued sniper rifle of that time period…the Swede would be my choice as well…with a Swiss K31 not far behind.

How do you cycle your carry ammo?

Top round gets chambered 2-3 times, then goes into the range bag to be shot. Full magazines expended in common carry pieces 2-3 times a year. Revolvers get fresh carry ammo 2-3 times a year as well.

    This weeks S&W release

My .380 S&W Shield EZ Performance Center is ported…I’m not sure it makes a huge difference vis a vis recoil…it’s got quite a large grip, and is tilt-barrel, so recoil is fairly light to begin with, and .380 isn’t that high pressure of a cartridge that it’ll have a lot of gas to force the barrel...

    “The Gun”

I still carry my P7M8, but…rarely. I don’t know how many times I’ve double-tapped with it, and the two holes could be covered with a quarter…

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Same rim (.357 Sig is formed off 10mm cases, not .40; .40 will be too short when necked down*). And while a shorter COAL, they fed just fine. *Fun little tidbit: I once bought a box of Winchester 10mm Silvertips; all of the cases were not stamped 10mm—they were stamped .357 Sig.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I had a G20, and also had a .357 conversion barrel for it. Worked great with just a barrel swap, same mags and RSA.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

It won’t. You can go from .40/.357 down to 9mm, but you can’t go up from 9 to .40/357.
