Kinda figured that wasn't sure. ThanksYou’ll have to get a .40/357 slide, barrel, recoil spring, and magazines to go from 9mm to .40/.357.

the mage are the same (i'm sure that's what you're stating) for the 40s/w and 357sig on use. i'll need to check mine to see if that's stated on the mag tho? You’ll have to get a .40/357 slide, barrel, recoil spring, and magazines to go from 9mm to .40/.357.
It won’t.the mag interface will be the same, but not sure if the extractor will work properly for a 9mm to 357sig change?
like most firearms in 9 to 40, if the cartridge lengths are fitted for short/small frames, all should fit (same for large frames in 45acp & 10mm). i state this as it works that way in the sa (xdm's) and glocks i have on full sized.Kinda figured that wasn't sure. Thanks
that's why i don't trust conversions that are for 9mm and supposedly will be converted to/for 40s/w. going up in rim/base diameter changes the angle on the extractor. It won’t.
You can go from .40/.357 down to 9mm, but you can’t go up from 9 to .40/357.
I had a G20, and also had a .357 conversion barrel for it. Worked great with just a barrel swap, same mags and RSA.like most firearms in 9 to 40, if the cartridge lengths are fitted for short/small frames, all should fit (same for large frames in 45acp & 10mm). i state this as it works that way in the sa (xdm's) and glocks i have on full sized.
same or within/close to same rim/base (i'd say .005-.010") would work ok on going larger case, but haven't checkedI had a G20, and also had a .357 conversion barrel for it. Worked great with just a barrel swap, same mags and RSA.
Same rim (.357 Sig is formed off 10mm cases, not .40; .40 will be too short when necked down*). And while a shorter COAL, they fed just fine.same or within/close to same rim/base (i'd say .005-.010") would work ok on going larger case, but haven't checked
i realize the 357sig, 40s/w and 10mm all have the same rim along with some others, but the 10mm stamped with 357sig..........way too go winchester! maybe it's a new win round..........40sig. left over brass they didn't want to waste before shouldering/annealing and called it a daySame rim (.357 Sig is formed off 10mm cases, not .40; .40 will be too short when necked down*). *Fun little tidbit: I once bought a box of Winchester 10mm Silvertips; all of the cases were not stamped 10mm—they were stamped .357 Sig.
I know the band well. Good stuff.Thought you was a music fan.
Fun fact: Tommy Johnson's "Canned Heat Blues" is what the band Canned Heat took their name from. Canned Heat Blues is a song about an alcoholic that got so desperate he started drinking Sterno.
