Robot machines coming to society, are you ready?

Or he'd have been "fit to be tied," as they say in the south. Or, perhaps, not embarassed at all. People have their kinks.

Robot machines coming to society, are you ready?

I, for one, welcome more robots (without AI - just robots). There's no reason humans should still be doing things that could be automated. Cooking, for example... program in the recipes, put the right automata and attachments above the cooking surfaces, add the right sensors and let the robots...

Mastering the Hellcat Pro for EDC

I compete with Glocks. Glocks felt like a single action trigger compared to the HCP. And I run an Echelon for USPSA Carry Optics. Night and day difference. Completely. It's amazing for as similar as those guns are on other features just how bad the trigger on the HCP came out to be...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

You watch too much TV. I'm shooting no less than 1000 rounds a month, sometimes closer to 1500 depending on the month. 90% of that 9mm (some 22 now and then when I'm tired/lazy). That's fives cases of ammo. A standard case might measure roughly 13 x 8.5 x 7.5 inches and weigh around 4...

I wonder how they met the ITAR requirements to export these from the US to California?

Mastering the Hellcat Pro for EDC

Did something change in the trigger on these? Far away the worst trigger out of the box I've ever felt on any gun, and I'm a Springfield fan. Two other folks at our weekly SCSA match agreed that it was the same for them. Felt like 18 lbs and had 6 miles of pull. The other two both...

    We need a 5” Eschilon

SA went the other way on this one: 4.5" to 4.0", with extended threaded barrels for those that prefer.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

You're far too nice to your UPS/FedEx drivers. :). I do try to meet them outside when I've ordered 5000 rounds of something.

One little feller and two sissy guys

Picked up a P365XL w/a SIG Romeo X optic in trade That's scary. I'd expect it to be low at 8 yards.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Picked up a 365XL + Romeo X optic in trade for a basic Tisas 1911DS Commander w/Vortex optic. Part: 365XL9BXR3RXX. Came with an extra mag and the baseplates. Ordered a SIG AXG grip module at a discount: https://www.sigsauer.com/p365-axg-9mm-grip-module-black.html This will make it a cousin...

    Grip tape

Given the 18 lb 6 mile trigger the HCP has, I’m surprised you’re not crushing your grip trying to fire it. :) I prefer the Pro over anything - good mix of grip without irritation.

Do you think you’d be able to tell a difference vs the 4.5?

Yeah, those are full dustcover/full rail, all steel as well, aren't they? Solid guns.

    Heavy Competition Guns

Right. I was replying to a comment on their new double stack. The rapide was a glimmer of hope, the new 2011 seems to confirm that.

    Isn’t that one a 1911, not a double stack?
