@BassCliff I sight mine in it in at 25 yards off a bag. That seems to work for me even when shooting out to 40 yards. Your range probably has a bag laying around. Peep sights take a little getting used to but once you do they are real accurate even with older eyes. The aperture has a pinhole...

Skinners sights are real nice. I had them on a ruger american rimfire. Less 1” group at 25 yards and a little over an inch at 40 yards.

generally i put them in the handheld bang stick. they go bang and hence are cycled. 😁 i didn't mean to pile on... i take that back. yeah i did.

i shot the red army mosin-nagant with that same scope 2 weeks ago. the scope is crude by today's standards but it shot just fine.

hmmmm... it's missing something. i can't quite put my finger on it.

i know. things can unravel quickly.

good thing i have no plans of ever going there.
