I see what the problem is. You have faulty targets. Some of them have big holes in the center! :)

Sometimes you just need to get somebody’s (or something’s) attention! I would (most of the time) prefer a warning shot when the attacker has four legs rather than two. If the noise and flash will deter them, it is a win-win! :)
