I generally carry at 4 whether OWB/IWB and occasionally use a belly band.

Carry 1, 1 1911 strategically located in the house, and 1 on the nightstand.

I use both and a blended version of the two depending on what I'm doing that day.

I don't use them on my carry guns but have them on some of my range guns. Two of my lever actions also have dots. My nightstand is a S&W 5.6 10mm with TG TFO sights and a Streamlight attached and a 44mag Marlin with a Venom in the corner.

I carry 9mm (Barnes/Norma) majority of the time .45acp comes in #2 (Win. Ranger T) 10mm when outdoors/deer lease (Barnes) My 1 shot would be my 44mag Marlin Lever action with optic Gnats *** (although it might be jumbo gnat :)) would be my 1911 9mm

I agree on the sights. I have an.357 with the Buckhorn sights and struggle being a consistent shooter when I start switching yardages. Wish I had folks at my range that brought out toys. looks like it was fun and nice work as always.

I have had zero issues with TruGlo or Ameriglo working. Call their customer service and they will tell you the exact model you need. I just put Ameriglo night sights on my Hellcat and Hellcat pro. I have TruGlo TFO's on almost everything else
