In a World of Compacts, Is it Bad my EDC is a Full Size?

Remember a lot of folk will buy a little gun then load it up with everything they can find that’ll bolt on and wind up with a bigger/heavier package than a standard service gun anyway😏

    Dang, it got COLD

Or toasty Kentucky. 60’s sounds like heaven after 90+ forever

    Tisas 1911A1… It’s 1926 All Over Again

You do have to admire the genius of JMB. How many other 100+ year old consumer products in a basically original form are still being produced and used, effectively, today? Let’s see, there’s a ma deuce (JMB), a few lever guns (several JMB), and a Colt SAA. That’s about it that come to mind

    Dang that's a long time

Unreal. Can’t believe it’s good for you though…😏. ‘Course a shot or two of pure O2 does go long long wat toward clearing a hangover (or so I’ve been told🙄)

    Shooting a revolver…

That’s the automatic that shoots all be itself huh?😳. (Sorry, somebody has to be a smart *** about it🙄). Seriously though, wheel guns are a very different animal. My CZ Shadow 2 is a LOT easier to run quickly than any revolver I’ve ever fiddled with. That said, there is something...

The fastest car of the 1980s was.......

In ‘73 when the emissions standards went into effect the performance car died, not to return for many years. Today, little 2.0’s put out power like the big V8’s of yesterday. 72’s were stout, 73’s same car, same displacement had a fraction of the hp and would cough and choke because of the...

A Look at the Engineering and Maintenance of the A-10’s GAU-8/A Cannon

After the 1st Gulf war I was at a reserve training facility where a number of Iraqi vehicles had been sent. There was a Russian built tank there (T64 if memory serves) that looked like a beer can a kid with a .22 had been shooting. It had been killed by a Warthog. Very impressive.

Gun Review: Ruger American Ranch Rifle

This. No “action cycling” noise either. A locked bolt gun will be quieter.

China now selling Shahed drone navigation brain online

Yeah, and it’ll deliver a whopping 66-110 lb warhead😏 at 115 mph. Does this make ANY sense? I mean a 155’ll do the same thing for a lot less $ per shot ( albeit at a MUCH shorter range). Figure 4500-5k PER shot (at least). No wonder the war in Ukraine is so costly!

Why the US military refuses to adopt bullpup rifles

I dunno. Some models at least are able to be set for lefties if desired. I find the balance of them to be “weird” (butt heavy). I suspect the strange balance may play a part. Also, the few I’ve handled seem to be awfully heavy (again, perhaps the weird balance?).

    Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

Unless it’s a government building, I’m armed-period. If it’s a business that’s “ gun free” I won’t be carrying there-mainly because I won’t be shopping there😏. Somebody who doesn’t feel they have a right to impose their “values” on me will be selling the same thing, and they WILL get my...
