Did you try a shooting bag/bag rest on a bench?
Isolate the firearm as much as possible and exercise trigger control.
No squeezing with the three amigos when you fire.
Use steady and even pressure when you hit the wall so that you're almost surprised when the shot goes off.
It's a private, member-run shooting club/range with by-laws requiring on-going membership to the NRA as a necessary qualification for joining. Joining through the range provides a discount to the member and money back to the club.
I don't have an issue with all this, as I do care about the 2A...
