    The p320 plot thickens…

Or what's called "tolerance stacking." Different batches at slightly different sizes (thousandths of inches) that are within tolerance (+/- .002, etc.) per part, when one part is +.002 and the other is -.002, leaving a difference of .004, which may or may not be too much overall.

    The p320 plot thickens…

To me, this is the crux of my current uncertainly with the P320 - why are guns behaving differently? Is it strictly manipulation, or is it also different parts batches/tolerance/interactions.

    The p320 plot thickens…

I don't believe this is all of "it," but I believe this is some of "it," and it's still not excusable. A handgun should never allow itself to get into this condition...

Trying to figure this out before buying

Test fit the optic on the plate and screen length extrusion before attaching plate to gun. Easy peasy way to use the right length.

    Correct.

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

I just ordered a new AXG Classic grip for cheap. Can’t wait! No fretting here - taking advantage of the panic selling!

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

Ideally taking it to the range tomorrow - hopeful I can get some rounds through it. Wanted to go today but my stomach didn't agree I could go. :)

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

They do. My first Cyelee, so I’ll see how durable it is. The internet loves them… but whether that’s reviews of freebie units or actual reviews I don’t trust yet. :)

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

Found a good deal on a PX-9 Duty Comp ($396). While I have a comped MAC DS9, it's a big gun vs. this more Glock 45 sized gun. No idea what I'll use it for other than range fun (maybe IDPA? I think it'd qualify). I've been pretty impressed with TISAS's other offerings, especially their PX-5.7...

The Glock G26X is Real. The GS 26X is Coming.

You have a Glock 19 with a shorter grip?

What are you doing right now??

Ah, I was assuming you knew the right footprint. C series are RMR footprint, K are modified RMSc.

What are you doing right now??

Definitely became my default. The level of adjustability is spectacular, as is getting the right length trigger shoe for my hands/grip. Dots are so much personal preference... and depends on if it's range, carry or competition. Generally, spend more get more, but what used to be garbage...

What are you doing right now??

The only difference in the 507 and 407 is multi-reticle vs. just the dot. If you'll only ever use the dot and not the circle/circle dot, the 407 is what you want.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

You do you, pops. NATO ally, and I don't judge people's religion, otherwise I'd never tolerate all the Methodists around here. :) Also really good manufacturing - they're quickly becoming the manufacturing center for the EU as well as northern African nations, so as the US pulls back from...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Finally stopped fighting the urge and bought a Tisas PX-9 Duty Comp. Under $400, under $450 post shipping and FFL. Takes SIG P226 mags. 3.5# trigger out of the box. Built in gas pedal/thumb rest. RMR optics pattern. Three mags included. Should be here Friday. TISAS's PX line of pistols have...

What are you doing right now??

Starting the refinishing on the Field Grade M1 I got with a 2014 replaced stock. The finish was really light, really dull and already scuffing. Past the receiver, no historical significance. My horrific process: Take off the stock, spray with non-chlorinated brake cleaner - takes everything...

    AOS Plate question

For the plate to gun, I'd order different screws. The SA screws are known to have more problems. Several sellers on eBay have hardened steel screws. Just make sure you torque them to the right spec. For the optic to the plate, use the screws with the optic. Test fit it to the plate BEFORE...

    EMP .40 Contour

How low? If those sights are zeroed at 25 yards, you should expect it to be a little low at 15.

My guess is ratshot. Obligatory: She's also not using a 320. :)

    Russian collusion hoax

And for the first time, we're not the nuclear aggressor. We're still the only nation that's ever actually used a nuclear weapon. Twice.
