I thought .308 and 7.62 were okay to shoot out of modern barrels stamped 7.62 or .308, but 7.62 out of an older .308 stamped barrel was a no-no due to the higher pressure.

Newest addition to the growing herd of .22 rifles is a Winchester Model 47, circa 1952-54’ish. In decent shape and shoots real well. The target is a 5 round group at 25 yds off a bag. The sling swivel comes off the barrel and is not original to the rifle. I sort of like it and think i’ll keep...

I’ve been reading that it is not a very fun gun to shoot, especially with +P. It is not something i need but thought it may be nice to have. I thinking if i’m going to get another handgun it ought to be something i enjoy shooting.

i am not buying the "recreational shooting" excuse one bit. did anyone hear gunfire before rounds landed at the baseball field? did anyone hear gunfire afterward? or was it just the handful of shots that seemed to be directed toward the baseball field? going out on a limb here, but i'm guessing...

why'd you do the paperwork for a gun you didn't want?

i am cross-dominant, shoot with both eyes open and tried all of these techniques. i have come to the determination that i am just not a good shot. 😢
