Or just as mentioned run 148 wadcutters. Shoots to the sights, is easy with little recoil but more importantly cuts a 358 full diameter hole in the sternum and does 15” to get to the goods.I seem to remember about every mod of 'Airweight' I ever shot was pretty snappy, and especially with +P's. If that's an issue for you, beware.
appears to be "used, but not abused". i'm still mulling it over.Nice revolver, if it's in good shape that's a good deal, grab it.
The S&W J-frame revolvers are one of the hardest guns to master due to their small size. Also, the recoil of an Airweight J-frame is downright nasty.I seem to remember about every mod of 'Airweight' I ever shot was pretty snappy, and especially with +P's. If that's an issue for you, beware.
I’ve been reading that it is not a very fun gun to shoot, especially with +P. It is not something i need but thought it may be nice to have. I thinking if i’m going to get another handgun it ought to be something i enjoy shooting. The S&W J-frame revolvers are one of the hardest guns to master due to their small size. I suggest you try to find a range with one to rent and try it out first.
BTW: I carry a 642 quite often.
If it's used it probably has the Hillary hole.appears to be "used, but not abused". i'm still mulling it over.

Nothing wrong with it, just ignore like I do…..It does.
