    Keeping track

I have everything entered into a spreadsheet, make, model, s/n, color and a few other columns. Pictures of most.

    New to California Hellcat

I bought the Hellcat Pro almost 2 years ago I'm guessing. I've had absolutely no problems with it, real solid gun and carries very well. It replaced my Ruger LC9s Pro as my EDC simply because of it's mag capacity, though the Ruger does have a much better trigger and is slimmer and even easier...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

    Firearms manufacture customer service

A long while back had to send my SR22 in to Ruger for a broken takedown lever. Fast on the phone, immediate email with RMA number and fast return to me. Fantastic! Canik (Century Arms) is another whole story. I had a M01 red dot that won't shake awake after 1 year. On Nov 16, 2023 I talked...

What Is the Best Hellcat for You?

My Hellcat Pro sights are good. My BIL & sister bought the Hellcat RDP when it first came out but they didn't know anything about red dots. I adjusted the red dot for them sitting at the kitchen table to the iron sights before we headed to her backyard and we've never adjusted it since. So...

What Is the Best Hellcat for You?

Same here. My EDC is a stock Hellcat Pro OSP in black. It's a reliable shooting gun, I don't recall a single failure since I brought it home.

    First AR

Yep, thanks, I know that now. But it being my first AR I got a little bad advise in the beginning. Thankfully I only bought 2 boxes, and still have some of it left. No more steel case for my AR!

    First AR

My first also, I bought the same Ruger model #8500 over the M&P for the same reason, the 1:8 rifling. It eats any ammo I have fed it except Tulammo steel case, it hung up constantly. It shoots any brand 55 gr I fed it so far just fine but it actually feels more solid somehow and sounds better...

Good to go .. VP9 dialed in

Wish I could do that. My eyes just blur a little when looking thru sights, scopes or red dots. At least my shooting is good enough to give'em a real bad day! 😉

    Super Bowl

Same here. Haven't watched a game since all that crap started and Mr. Brady went to federal court to get his NFL punishment for cheating removed ... because he was more important than the sport itself!

@nmedge, Life is short, buy what makes you happy and head for the range! (As long as you can afford it lol) 😉

    Ruger 22lr

Some of the older MK II were also barrel stamped Government Target (special government specs for their target gun). They are 6.88" bull barrel and were manufactured differently than the other MK II's. The chambers were manufactured differently also, don't know what, but it made this little...
