You got a hell of a deal!

    Springfield Kuna Review — A Roller-Delayed 9mm

The AP 5 seems more reasonably priced. I’m not enthused about the aesthetics of it though… But that’s a personal thing.

    Springfield Kuna Review — A Roller-Delayed 9mm

Not sure where or when you got the MPX for $1200. But here are some current prices on the MPX K (which is the comparable version of the Kuna). https://www.pewpewtactical.com/products/sig-sauer-mpx-k/...

    Springfield Kuna Review — A Roller-Delayed 9mm

MPX K is also double the price… Features for the price, I’d still go for the Kuna. I could be way off base, but I’m just not willing to pay $2000 for a 9mm pcc sub gun. Looks like the MKE/ Century AP5 runs around $1700. The Kuna is more than decent for around $1000.

    Springfield Kuna Review — A Roller-Delayed 9mm

I don’t have a PCC. Been considering it lately. At this point, if I were going to get one, this would be it. Seems to me, features for the price is a great value.

Third day in Detroit area this week

Downtown in most big cities are sketchy. Here’s a problem I see with the law, even in 2A friendly states. You can’t take a weapon into a courthouse or government facility with security. I understand that. The problem is you have to park and get to the facility walking through not real friendly...

    NRA Convention Atlanta

I’m in Atlanta and thought about it. But am not a member still after all the WLP malarkey. Probably should join again so I can go.

HOW TO HANDLE A TRAFFIC STOP WHILE CARRYING CONCEALED

No problem. Every situation is different. I did what I thought was best at the time.

HOW TO HANDLE A TRAFFIC STOP WHILE CARRYING CONCEALED

Well, I didn’t have a street cone in my back pocket. And I was careful about not leaving fingerprints. It would have been irresponsible to leave the gun in the middle of the road with a family walking by or exposed to a car running it over and possibly causing an accidental discharge.

HOW TO HANDLE A TRAFFIC STOP WHILE CARRYING CONCEALED

I picked it up by the checkered part of the grip with 2 fingers where there would be no fingerprints. I was very aware of that. And there was a family walking down the road. Mom, Dad and two young kids. I didn’t think it was best to leave the gun sitting in the middle of the road. My suspicion...

HOW TO HANDLE A TRAFFIC STOP WHILE CARRYING CONCEALED

As I said earlier, I generally won’t say anything during a traffic stop unless there’s a chance the LEO may see my firearm. If there’s that chance, I’d let them know that I’m armed so they’re not surprised. I did have a situation fairly recently I figure I’ll share. I was doing a walk one...

HOW TO HANDLE A TRAFFIC STOP WHILE CARRYING CONCEALED

I live in Ga and there is no requirement to inform. Personally, I won’t inform unless there’s the possibility that LEO will see my firearm. I’ve been pulled over many times (yeah, I have a lead foot) and have never had a problem with this approach. I don’t know whether or not a license plate...

    Suggestions for red dot sight

This is probably your best option for that pistol. The RailMaster you were looking at requires a Picatinny rail to mount the laser on. The Laser grips are going to be your best and easiest option to install.

    Suggestions for red dot sight

Doesn’t look like that firearm is capable of mounting a red dot. That rear sight is dovetailed. The slide is not milled to mount a red dot sight… Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.

    New Sig P365

Well, I said earlier I was interested in the P365 SAS. Never could find one in person and just heard too many conflicting views on the sight to go for it. I wound up buying the P938 Legion. I’ve always wanted a P938 and couldn’t get it right in my head having a P365XL and a P365. Been happy with...

Silencer Saturday #352: Are Silencers (Suppressors) In Common Use Now?

Good call!! Kind of pisses me off every time I hear “Silencers”. I know it’s the legal term, but It still bugs me.

Silencer Saturday #352: Are Silencers (Suppressors) In Common Use Now?

Silencers aren’t silent. Maybe if we started calling them what they are - suppressors - the stigma wouldn’t be attached to them. People think they are movie silent and think that criminals could use them without repercussions. That’s just not true. They’re good for protecting your hearing and...

    Middle Aged 870 Magnum

I have that 870 I got back in the ‘80s. Smooth bore barrel with a threaded choke. I got the combo that came with a bird barrel as well. I got a mount for scope or red dot for it. Remove the receiver pins and replace with pins that come with the mount. Nice rig!!

    New Sig P365

Found one on Ranier Arms for $530. I may have to pull the trigger on it. Since my eyes are so bad close up, I have a hard time getting iron sights in any kind of focus. I love red dots and have one on my P365xl and IWI Masada, but I'm thinking this may be a good way to have something that is...
