    Never buy, always sell?

@Bear103 Yeah, I'm definitely more focused on things I shoot. @Musashi About a third of my collection is "collector" stuff generally, and about 6-8 are those "keep under glass" type pieces (1934 Hi-Power, etc).

Springfield TRP won't close slide with 8 rounds

Or use a trusted gunsmith. Or let SA fix the problem. There's a lot in between "learn to file on 1911 parts" and "buy a Glock."

    Never buy, always sell?

After living the mantra of "never sell, always buy," I'm finding that a few things I bought for one purpose have turned out to not get used. Instead of them sitting in the safe, they're headed to auction with Locust Fork on Gunbroker. I did quite a bit of research and they came highly rated -...

Springfield TRP won't close slide with 8 rounds

Mag catch (from advice above) is the easiest thing to try yourself. Otherwise, send it back to SA with a good problem description - the next potential would be the ejector being out of spec.

Springfield TRP won't close slide with 8 rounds

If you hold down the slide release will the slide close? Perhaps the slide release is slightly out of spec and the full follower from the mag is pushing it up ever so slightly.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

I'm very confused - the specs are on the website: https://www.sigsauer.com/p220-legion-45.html It's a PRO footprint. Should be fine.

Isn't the legion PRO ready? They're all DPP footprints...

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

Considering they're $570 from SIG... yes? Unless that's with tax and shipping. https://www.sigsauer.com/romeo-x-pro-enclosed.html

Police say they seized 23 guns from the home of a 13-year-old who appeared to idolize mass shooters

Was that back when MA was still a part of the US and followed the Constitution, allowing guns? Pepperidge Farm 'members.

There was a threat, and there is due process happening, as you note. Also, the parents providing unfettered access may be a crime in and of itself in that state.

    with optics

No, it's basic geometry. The dot typically sits out of line with the iron sights, even if only slightly, and just aligning it with something four inches in front of it (or less) doesn't work at range. The video is informative. Math doesn't vary based on opinion.

    with optics

If you mean co-witness, like the sights in one view and the dot in another, great. If you slaved the dot to the sights, that's wrong.
