Advice for installing proper screw length for optic

Install the optic on the plate with your choice of screws before mounting plate to gun. Look for protrusion. Then remove, add plate to gun and optic to plate.

    Deadly Dangers of Gun-Free Zones

Gee, when you put up signs advertising "unarmed victims here!" bad guys prefer those. Go figure!

    The p320 plot thickens…

Yep. That's what's making people decide "Nope, SIG isn't for me."

    The p320 plot thickens…

Their tone-deaf response in general is definitely dictated by lawyers and shows how much their contract sales mean vs. any civilian sales they'll lose on this one model in an extensive line of firearms.

    The p320 plot thickens…

Sort of, except here it’s the absolute of the total deviation vs the acceptable sigma.

    The p320 plot thickens…

Or what's called "tolerance stacking." Different batches at slightly different sizes (thousandths of inches) that are within tolerance (+/- .002, etc.) per part, when one part is +.002 and the other is -.002, leaving a difference of .004, which may or may not be too much overall.

    The p320 plot thickens…

To me, this is the crux of my current uncertainly with the P320 - why are guns behaving differently? Is it strictly manipulation, or is it also different parts batches/tolerance/interactions.

    The p320 plot thickens…

I don't believe this is all of "it," but I believe this is some of "it," and it's still not excusable. A handgun should never allow itself to get into this condition...

Trying to figure this out before buying

Test fit the optic on the plate and screen length extrusion before attaching plate to gun. Easy peasy way to use the right length.

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

Ideally taking it to the range tomorrow - hopeful I can get some rounds through it. Wanted to go today but my stomach didn't agree I could go. :)

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

They do. My first Cyelee, so I’ll see how durable it is. The internet loves them… but whether that’s reviews of freebie units or actual reviews I don’t trust yet. :)

TISAS PX-9 Duty Comp (uses Sig 226 mags)

Found a good deal on a PX-9 Duty Comp ($396). While I have a comped MAC DS9, it's a big gun vs. this more Glock 45 sized gun. No idea what I'll use it for other than range fun (maybe IDPA? I think it'd qualify). I've been pretty impressed with TISAS's other offerings, especially their PX-5.7...

You have a Glock 19 with a shorter grip?

What are you doing right now??

Ah, I was assuming you knew the right footprint. C series are RMR footprint, K are modified RMSc.

What are you doing right now??

Definitely became my default. The level of adjustability is spectacular, as is getting the right length trigger shoe for my hands/grip. Dots are so much personal preference... and depends on if it's range, carry or competition. Generally, spend more get more, but what used to be garbage...

What are you doing right now??

The only difference in the 507 and 407 is multi-reticle vs. just the dot. If you'll only ever use the dot and not the circle/circle dot, the 407 is what you want.

What have you bought firearms related in the last 48 hours?

You do you, pops. NATO ally, and I don't judge people's religion, otherwise I'd never tolerate all the Methodists around here. :) Also really good manufacturing - they're quickly becoming the manufacturing center for the EU as well as northern African nations, so as the US pulls back from...
