Ditto. I try, but it happens when it happens. The good news is, whenever I go to the range, I make it a point to run at least a few rounds through my EDC's just to take the carry ammo out and mix it up (or shoot it through if it's time to cycle them out).

To take it a step further, the ammo in your EDC mags keep getting bumped around in the same spot, it will cause wear in that spot. So every now and again, you take the ammo out of your mag and shuffle it around to "even the wear" and make it last longer. Much like rotating your tires.
