I tried swapping barrels with the full-size and the compact and I can confirm that the barrels are swapable and are exactly the same other than length.

The barrels should be the same other than length. I wonder if they accidentally sent a Hellcat barrel?

This^^^ I never understand people that take a handgun right out of the box and expect it to run without issues, especially 1911's. A handgun is a precision tool and should be treated as such. Cleaned, lubed and inspected often. My 1911's all run great with a thorough cleaning and being well lubed.

I'm going to stick with my SHTF package. My Canik SFT Pro in 9mm with as many 20rd mags and spare 9mm ammo as I can carry. (Most law enforcement and military, not to mention general population carry 9mm, so it should be plentiful wherever I go) and my 16" Ar15 with as many 556 rounds I can carry...

I owned a few P320's, even carried a few for a while, and I really liked them. I ended up getting rid of them when the lawsuits came back into the picture. My confidence in carrying them was lost.

Springfield sells parts for the Echelon. Just take a look at their store. They just don't sell a spring kit yet. The spring is a tough buy. I'd put it back together and send it back to Springfield for repair. Or email HS Produkts in Croatia, they may be able to sell you a spring.

Not had a problem with my Echelons yet. Best shooting striker guns I own.

I added the Prime to my edc rotation. I like the Prime for the extra 2 rounds, but I still prefer the Echelon for edc.

I don't know about the P365, but It's Hellcat/ Echelon 4.0 sized just a little thinner.

I picked up a New Canik Mete Mc9 Prime in a trade the other day and mounted a Holosun 407K to it. It's since been added it to my edc rotation after running about 150 rounds thru it to make sure it's reliable.

This is a spacer plate that fills the gap in the front and back of the optic since the optic is too short (lengthwise) for the opening. The plate is not needed to mount the optic.

Technically, I guess they're a 5", a 4.5" and a 4.0"
