Thoughts, reviews...The Sig Romeo 5 red dot

I appreciate your comment. My eyes, like yours are no longer young. Hunting has been a passion for many years but it's getting more difficult to spot the prey from a distance. My shots are kept within 100 yards, with glasses and scope. I have a Tasco 3-9x50 but didn't know how well it would work...

Thank you. I plan on hunting deer, black bear and possibly elk in the mountains of WV. Any suggestions? Not new to hunting, just new to using the AR 10 in this pursuit.

I have a co-worker who tells me the The Sig Romeo 5 is a pretty good hunting scope to use with my Saint Victor .308 rifle. Still looking, haven't paired anything with this beautiful beast yet I'm getting decent groups with the iron sights honestly. All input is appreciated.

It appears there is a wealth of knowledge to be tapped here! Vortex seems to be in the majority, so I'll research these and let you all know what my final choice will be. Not new to hunting, but using an AR 10 in the field will be a first this coming season. I'll share my stories as they unfold...

New here and looking for opinions/knowledge of affordable hunting scopes for Saint Victor .308. Top end would be spending $500. Will be used for Whitetail, feral hogs and Black Bear in WV.
