My LGS/range has this S&W 637-2 Airweight for sale. I’m not really a revolver guy but this caught my eye. I thought it might be a nice carry gun. It is labeled as “38 S&W Special +P”. Is that 38 Special or 38 S&W? It was a little confusing to me. Any help would be appreciated.

The images in my head are disturbing, at best. Gonna be a rough night’s sleep.

rattlesnakes are rare where i am in nj. that said, if i had rattlesnakes around my house they wouldn't be there for too long.

before you go replacing springs etc, clean the channel and run new ammo. Simple stuff. Let us know how it works for you. Also, lets see a pic of the 911.

I put up a video of how to field strip a 1911 thinking it would be the same as a 911… i was wrong. Therefore, i took it down to avoid confusion. Sorry. Maybe @Annihilator can help since he has one.

Fresh ammo to start. FMJ range ammo. Nothing fancy. Thorough cleaning of the gun, especially the firing pin channel. It may be gummed up with gunk. That can cause light strikes.

@OldGrunt spider solitaire is my game of choice. It helps focus by distracting my brain on something else for a bit. (If that makes sense)

looks fine to me. as long as the rounds come out the right end and land within the "vicinity of aim" you're good to go! 🙂

i do not play video games. i never had much interest in them. even as a kid when we got an atari 2600 back in the early 80's i played it sparingly. i do play solitaire on my computer to clear my head though. does that count?

What do you mean boogered up? Do you have pictures of it. Did it work okay before you filed it?
