    Diamondback SDR (Self Defense Revolver)

It's probably the same size as a Kimber K6s and Taurus 605, both of which are negligibly a similar size to S&W J-frames. I own a S&W 640 Pro, Model 60, and Kimber K6s. I don't notice much of a difference in size. Other than that, J-frames snubbies are more popular and are what most carry and...

    Diamondback SDR (Self Defense Revolver)

It's a great addition and attractive revolver. More competition for S&W and Ruger is a good thing. Maybe Smith will wake up and stop taking their revolver customers for granted.

    Diamondback SDR (Self Defense Revolver)

21.20 oz, 6 shot, forged polished stainless frame, quick release cylinder and crane link assembly, crowned barrel, 3-dot sight system. Seems like a great alternative to a S&W M60 and Kimber K6s at a lower price point. It's nice to see Smith, Kimber, and other manufacturers moving towards...

    S&W New Product announcement Jan. 22 2024

I was just asking what they're used for and why people are still buying them lol. I wasn't bashing or saying that there was anything wrong with those who want one.

Defensive much? Great but you didn't answer the question or anything to do with my comment.

What are $1500-$2400 lever action rifles being used for and do that other platforms can't? What am I missing? Just seems like a small niche "just because I have extra money and I have a lever action fetish" firearm.

I got other things wrong, but they aren't likely to kill me at any given moment in time.

My Bday was on the 17th, so it just past. Seems like a lot of Spring conceptions. I have two children born Nov 28th and 29th and a son born Jan 7th. I'm pushing 50, but I've lived most of my life with staged 2 or 3 hypertension. Hopefully I'll reach 70 like the rest of you.

I agree. It's a clothing line. S&W released the Equalizer, Shield Plus, and their PCC and bullpup shotgun all without any of this silly marketing shenanigans. Everything leads me to believe it's clothing. I'm waiting with a bag of popcorn for the backlash lol

    S&W New Product announcement Jan. 22 2024

A couple of days before this email went out, a couple of arrogant members on S&W forum swore up and down that they had it on good authority from a nameless source that S&W would be releasing revolvers without the Hilary hole. I called B.S.... Now I'm patiently waiting to say "I told you so." I...

It's not a shotgun, as one picture has what looks like handgun (revolver) rounds. It's either a SAO revolver or a lever action rifle. The cowboy, revolver ammo, wilderness pics, that's the only thing that fits.

Is 5.7x28mm Just Overpriced .22 Magnum?

I wasn't aware that recoil was an issue especially with 9mm out of a full size 9mm or 45acp handgun. It doesn't seem like the primary buyers of these calibers are recoil sensitive either. Most of the people who I see talking about these calibers own dozens of 9mm's, 45acp's, ARs, shotguns...

Is 5.7x28mm Just Overpriced .22 Magnum?

What's the purpose though. I'm trying to understand. What is a .22TCM, 5.7X28mm, etc going to kill that a regular 9mm or the like can't equally stop and/or kill for less? Plus, the only time ot makes since to use a 5" or longer firearm is for home defense, hunting, or defense against 4 legged...

Is 5.7x28mm Just Overpriced .22 Magnum?

Seems like every Well I stand corrected. I've never heard of it and I'll guarantee you that most others never heard of the round until FN introduced their (expensive) offering a few years back. At that point, many started jumping on the bandwagon.
