I have lights on all the AR's i used to hunt with, wasn't worried about nobody shootin back in the woods. was nice having a light walking the 400 yards to and from my stand. and with huge boars and bears roaming around you needed to see them before they seen you.

That's probably the case, they should have waited on the discontinuing until the gen 6 was ready instead of throwing something out there. why would people buy a v model when the 6 is coming out in a month.

Probably so, but still old grip module and no cut slide.

Which begs the question, why come out with a model that looks exactly like the old model with no capabilities to install an optic if the Gen6 is coming out a little more than a month later.

I will definitely look at one, the new grip looks interesting. they better hurry with it cause i bet the V models are a flop.

With all this attention i bet the AR was black. colored AR's are not scary and he wouldn't be having this problem now.
