Slicing it

I was gifted an old 1911 Commander that had a deep scratch. I took it to a gunsmith for some other work and he also ceracoated the frame for me to hide the scratch. You can still see the scratch faintly but if you didn't know it was there you would not notice it.

Has anyone seen anything on the identity of the shooter?
