We wore the 5.11 vest on protection details in hot climates for years. You can carry gun, spare magazines, radios, baton, passport, IFAK, OC spray, bottled water, and a bag of Fritos concealed under those things. They do look coppish but no more than a Brooks Brothers suit in a tropical...
