Marlin/Ruger 1895 Dark 45-70

Here is one I have only had for a few weeks. I know some people don't like the modern take on the traditional lever action but I like it. I added the RPP cartridge quiver and dot sight. The only other change I'm considering is a ELG M-LOK stock.

I have the 1895 GSBL that Marlin (Remington) put out 10 yrs ago.

A bit more weather resistant with this model with nitrided SS metal throughout, and a textured coating over the laminated stock.

The only upgrades I did was replacing the rear-sight with a Skinner receiver sight, taking the front hood off, trigger job, and getting a HPG buttstock shell holder.

Good rifle for when in dog-hair thick timber in high-probability Griz country.
