If I decide to shoot one that's been sitting in the safe for a long time, I'll at least inspect and lube it before taking it to the range. Of course it'll get a full cleaning the next day. ;)

I usually spend one day shooting and the next day cleaning.

While it may fold to half as long, it ends up three times wider. I think that makes it harder to pack. :rolleyes:

I served with a guy in the Army who spent time in Greenland. Camp Thule I think it was. (?) Anyway, he said the entire base was built under the ice. He was awarded a certificate for not seeing the sun for one full year. They called it The Order of the Mole.

My poor opinion of Kimber is based on years of shooting IDPA. I've seen far more Kimbers choke on the firing line than any other brand. I don't want one.

Well, its over here. Ended up with about 2-2.5" of real fine powdery snow. It glazed over during the night. Streets are messy, but passable. Nothing near what the doom and gloomers forecast. I got nowhere I need to go, so I'm just gonna wait it out. ;)
