Yes, I keep cash on hand. I prefer to use cash as much as possible. I have one credit card which is mostly used for internet purchases and I pay it off every month.

Mine has been completely reliable. No one hiccup. I love it! (y) The blue sure is pretty. But, I consider my SA-35 as a working gun. Black is fine with me. I'm still hoping for a lightweight Detective model. {hint, hint} ;)

In my little corner of SW Tennessee they're calling for a mix of snow, sleet and freezing rain. Supposed to be mostly sleet at my house. Its gonna get nasty! 🤬 Oh well, I've got plenty of supplies and nowhere I need to go. I'm just gonna sit in the house and ride it out. ;)

I'm still wearing a $30 Timex I bought at WalMart about six years ago. I've never been much for fancy jewelry. When I was working, I wore the cheapest $2-3 plastic watches I could find. I was hard on watches and didn't want to mess up a good one. I often bought 2-3 at a time.

I consider myself a fairly good hobbyist gunsmith. But I do know my limits. Mostly due to expensive tools that I don't own and wouldn't use enough to justify their cost. I think the real value of a Gunsmithing forum would be a place where people can ask questions about issues with their guns...

M1 carbine updated for the 21st century. And before any of you start cussin'..... I can change it back to G.I. issue in about 30 minutes. ;)

A S&W Model 35. That's a J-frame .22LR with a 6" barrel. Its one of those things where I've just never been able to get a gun for sale and the money together at the same time. :rolleyes: Last I checked, they're now selling for 1K +. Guess I'll never get one now. 😞
