I know I was late to the party but kinda like the full size XD line up. Yeah I have the wonderful XDm elite in 9 and 10MM (still love the 10MM). I honestly wish there was the 5.25” barrel option still alive.

I learned to have a close circle of friends to “loan” stuff too. Otherwise it has to be horrible to shoot (my Glock 43X’s are the only thing I outright sold).

We get screwed more and more. Our FOID card doesn’t have an expiration date either and it is tied into our DL/plates. I shot in Iowa a few times and never really needed to show my FOID card (even to look at a firearm). If I could just win the lottery and open my own FFL.
