First Look: SAINT Victor 5.5″ PDW 9mm

Well.... why would they sell a PDW that takes Colt/Uzi mags when they sell a Hi-Power clone that everyone loves. That also has mag dimensions that are so close that moving/modifying the mag catch would be easy. That already boasts hi-cap mags; I know that some people don't like Pro Mag, but...

Chiappa Firearms 92 Field and 92 Core lever-action rifles

So many good looking lever guns out there. I'm happy with my Rossi R92 (in the one true caliber, .357 magnum), but if I didn't have it, it would be a hard decision to make.

First Look: SAINT Victor 5.5″ PDW 9mm

While I really don't care about this "pistol" per se, can someone who know confirm or deny that the Colt SMG mags are based off of the Browning Hi-power mags? This would make a big difference if I could pair this with my SA-35. Fingers crossed 😬

How do you cycle your carry ammo?

I have had the same off-duty carry ammo for years. When I go to the range I just unload the mags of "good" ammo into the bottom of my range bag. When I'm done they all get reloaded. So everything goes back randomly? I don't shoot defensive ammo often. Probably because I'm so cheap.

    Pistols, PDWs, and SMGs

I think most of those would make your pistol an illegal SBR? Maybe not. In any event, why not just run a braced pistol that would share mags with your chosen pistol? Wouldnt that be easier, more direct, a better platform to run better optics, a light and so on, while being something smaller...

    Anyone gone back to steel?

Cool. Cool. I wish I could live with my 6906, but if that were the case I would have probably have stopped collecting in 2000 and would never have met my CZ.

    Anyone gone back to steel?

Mmmmm............. I am good with my CZ P-07. The SP-01 (closest metal version) just isn't the right one for me. So for duty, no I have not gone back to steel. I have two guns that I like but have flaws (to me). I have a Smith 6906. Great gun. Love it. I put a 6904 slide assembly on it to make...

    S&W CSX-E series

Lets cut to the chase. Smith needs to restart the 39, 59, 69, 40, 40, 45 series that stopped with the 3rd gen. I think a 4th gen would fly. I would buy a gen 4 6906 if it was optics capable and had a rail for a light. I'd buy two or three if they came in .40 S&W and 10mm.

    Anyone carry TWO?

On duty I carry two, have a (now suppressed) rifle and 3rd pistol in the G-Ride. Normal off-duty carry is one. If I'm traveling out of area it goes up to two. If I'm traveling far and staying more than a few days it's 3 handguns and a long gun. I have a dickens of a time packing for long trips.
